Miami and New York City, July 7, 2026 – Omaha Beach Capital, LLC (“OBC”) is pleased to announce that Sentry Aerospares (“Sentry”), a portfolio company of Acorn Capital Management (“Acorn”) and the first investment in Omaha Beach Partners IV, LP (“OBP IV”), has acquired AirStart Inc. (“AirStart”), a leading independent stocking distributor of rotable aircraft components and a recognized leader in the Canadian market.

Founded by Robert Wills, AirStart is known for exceptional customer service, deep expertise in regional aircraft platforms, and long-standing relationships with airlines, MRO providers, and parts distributors worldwide. Its new, state-of-the-art facility adjacent to Toronto Pearson Airport gives Sentry a strong presence in the Canadian market and complements Sentry’s global hubs in London, the New York metro area, and Dallas. The acquisition expands Sentry’s inventory portfolio, deepens its customer relationships, and strengthens its 24/7 aircraft-on-ground (“AOG”) support capabilities, with meaningful cross-selling opportunities across the combined business.

OBC invested in Sentry in July 2025 through a GP-led continuation vehicle sponsored by Acorn. Sentry was the first investment in OBP IV, OBC’s latest fund focused on GP-led secondaries in the lower middle and middle market. A core element of the investment thesis was Sentry’s ability to expand globally and build a differentiated aviation aftermarket platform through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The acquisition of AirStart marks a critical advancement of that strategy.
